Is the operator of the Sengkang Block Cooperation Contract located in South Sulawesi Province. Currently, the Sengkang Block has a working area of ​​2,925.23 km² with a contract period until October 24, 2042.

Field Development

Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Ltd. has a field development plan that has been approved by SKKMigas (POD/FPOD) as follows:

Gas Field
Kampung Baru

Currently EEES operates the Kampung Baru Gas Field located in Gilireng District with a production capacity of around 50-60 MMSCFD from three production wells namely KB#4A, KB#6A, and KB#8 which are utilized for the power plant (PLTGU) of PT. Sengkang Energy has a capacity of 315 MW and city gas needs.

Walanga Field,
Sampi-Sampi, and Bonge (WASAMBO)

The Walanga, Sampi-Sampi and Bonge Field Development (WASAMBO) is capable of producing 70 MMSCFD of gas which will be processed into LNG with a capacity of 0.5 MTPA to meet the request from PT. PLN (Persero) as a power generator (PLTGU) for the Bali, Makassar, Minahasa & Gorontalo regions. A Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSA) was signed between Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Ltd. with the Regional Company (PERUSDA) of South Sulawesi.

Sengkang Block Working Area

  • The Sengkang Block working area currently has proven gas reserves of ± 800 BCF and ± 2 TCF resources in the Sengkang Block which will continue to be explored for energy needs.
  • The Sengkang Block Oil and Gas Working Area is operated by Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Ltd
