Energy Equity Epic Sengkang Holds an Audience with Wajo Regional Government Regarding Drilling and 3D Seismic Activities

Wajo, March 19, 2025 – Energy Equity Epic Sengkang (EEES), through the Manager of Drilling & Sub Surface, Christanto B. Santoso, conducted a visit and audience with the Regional Government of Wajo, which was directly received by the Regent of Wajo, H. Andi Rosman, S.Sos., M.M., in Sengkang. In this meeting, EEES presented plans for the upcoming drilling activities at the Salobulo and East Walanga wells, as well as the implementation of a 3D seismic survey covering approximately 120 km² in the Tosora area.


This activity is part of EEES’s long-term commitment and plan to support energy exploration and production in Wajo Regency. During the meeting, the Manager of Drilling & Sub Surface EEES provided an overview of the technical drilling plans and environmental and social mitigation measures to ensure the smooth execution of operational activities.


The Regent of Wajo welcomed the plan and emphasized the importance of coordination between the company, the regional government, and the local community. “We hope this activity will bring benefits to the region, both in terms of economic growth and human resource development,” said the Regent of Wajo.


The 3D seismic survey to be conducted in the Tosora area, covering approximately 120 km², aims to obtain more accurate subsurface data for optimizing oil and gas exploration. In its implementation, EEES is committed to carrying out the activities in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and social standards.


EEES also emphasized that local community involvement will be a top priority in this activity, including workforce empowerment and the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. With synergy between the regional government and the company, it is expected that this activity will run smoothly and contribute positively to regional development.


This audience serves as a strategic step to ensure the smooth operation of EEES in Wajo Regency, while also strengthening communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
