Wajo, The condition of the spread of Covid 19 in Wajo Regency has not yet shown signs of stopping, even though it is not significant, the increase in cases is still continuing to date. This condition has again motivated Energy Equity Epic Sengkang Pty. Ltd (EEES) to help the Wajo Regency Government in handling the pandemic in its operational areas.
The assistance was symbolically received directly by the Regent of Wajo, Dr. H. Amran Mahmud, S.Sos, M.Si in his office (Tuesday, 18/08/2020). Also present on the occasion were representatives of FKTSP / Bappelitbangda Kab. Wajo Andi Bau Senja Marlia Bellina and Gilireng District Head Andi Muh. Al Fatih, S.IP, M.Sc.
According to CSR/PR Supervisor EEES Andi Gustina, the assistance this time is the third phase of assistance, “This is the third time EEES has handed over assistance to the Wajo Regional Government in handling Covid-19 in our area, all of the assistance we distributed was in coordination with the Responsibility Coordination Forum. Wajo Regency Corporate Social Service (FKTSP) is in accordance with the PERDA which regulates CSR,” he explained.
In the third stage of handover, the materials submitted were: 80 rapid test kits, 10 pieces of Infra red thermogun, 250 pieces of KN 95 masks, 50 pieces of face shields, 15 boxes of surgical masks, 20 boxes of gloves, 10 pairs of raincoats, hand 12 sets of sprayers, and 1 unit of hand washing facilities and 150 liters of ready-to-use disinfectant.
In his direction, the Regent of Wajo requested that these aid items must be distributed according to the plan, really used as efficiently and effectively as possible. “I ask FKTSP that these aid items be given to those who are entitled according to the plan, don’t let others propose, others accept.” he insisted.
After being symbolically received by the Wajo Regent, the assistance was handed over to the Wajo FKTSP at the Wajo Regency Covid-19 Response Acceleration Post on Jl. Gen. Ahmad Yani Sengkang to be distributed to beneficiaries, namely the District Health Office. Wajo, Gilireng District and Gilireng Health Center. (*)
