Gilireng, During his working visit to Wajo District, the Commander of the XIV Hasanuddin Military Command Major General Andi Muhammad Bau Sawa Mappanyukki SH., MH. with Wajo Regent Dr. H Amran Mahmud S. Sos, M. Si took the time to visit one of the national vital objects (Obvitnas) in Gilireng District (Friday, 3 June 2022).
Pangdam XIV along with several high-ranking Kodam officers including Kapok Sahli Brigadier General Andi Kamaruddin, Danrem 141 Toddopuli Brigadier General Djashar Djamil observed the Hasanuddin Kodam Territorial Development Program (Binter) with SKK Migas located at the Central Processing Plant (CPP) Kampung Baru Natural Gas Field operated by Energy Equity Epic Sengkang Pty. Ltd (EEES).
Arriving at the location around 17.00 the group of high ranking Kodam XIV Hasanuddin were received by Field Operations Manager Hadayullah Hamid, HSSE Manager Herry RJ and Security Advisor Major General (Purn) Sudirman Kadir along with several senior employees.
EEES Security Advisor Maj. Gen. (Purn.) Sudirman Kadir said that he had deliberately invited the military commander to visit EEES. “The commander-in-chief’s visit was to find out more and witness Obvitnas in South Sulawesi, moreover we are collaborating with the TNI and Polri in securing our Obvitnas in EEES,” he said.
After receiving a brief explanation regarding Obvitnas activities and the Binter Kodam program at EEES, the Pangdam took the time to plant trees as part of a CSR program in the environmental sector.
Ending the visit, the Pangdam was friendly with all EEES employees before continuing the visit to Sengkang City.
